Nicole photographed our entire wedding ceremony and reception…as well as another smaller intimate ceremony and our rehearsal dinner which occurred on the prior night…as well as a last minute extra photo shoot that we added on, thanks to Nicole, so we could get photos in sunny weather the day before our wedding (which had a rainy forecast). So we spent A LOT of time with Nicole and we can really say with very strong confidence that she is totally and undeniably AMAZING. Not only did she take incredibly stunning photos of everything and is super talented, but also she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Nicole has a wonderful personality that kept us calm and reassured — which is so important because she was such a big part of our entire wedding experience, which extended over the course of a whole weekend. We are sooo grateful to have those additional photos and wouldn’t have even thought of that idea without her. Nicole was very detail-oriented but also was fully aware of the big picture, whether it was relating to the actual images that she was photographing or relating to the people she was helping us coordinate and the events she was a part of. “If I could rate Nicole out of ten stars, I’d give her eleven. I came across her images at my venue’s (Hunter Mountain) marketing materials. There was a photo of the couple on the ski lift that’s taken up to the ceremony location at the summit of the mountain, and there was another photo of the bridal party walking through a field of flowers; both took my breath away. Nature has always been a vital party of my and my now husband’s relationship, and the way that she captured the beauty of both the people and nature in her photos was stunning. Nicole did our engagement shoot at Kaaterskill Falls, and I didn’t know what to expect. I have always loved taking photos but didn’t feel so natural or comfortable on the other side of the lens. I figured “if we come away with at least 10 photos that I love then we’re good”. Nicole sent us a gallery of hundreds of pictures and I loved all of them. She framed us beautifully in nature, and told our story through her images. I felt seen, and beautiful. Her guidance in the shoot was supportive and simple. The natural stances and candidness of her style brought out our relationship in these photos. I was blown away, and I still am. Two years later, Nicole did our wedding photos. It was a joy connecting with her again and having her at our wedding. “I spent a lot of time researching vendors for our wedding because I wanted our memories to be perfect. I found Nicole on The Knot and as soon as I started looking through her portfolio, I knew I found our photographer. We meet in person and I described to her the theme I wanted for our wedding and what I was looking for. She contacted me shortly after with a great idea for our engagement photos. She even volunteered to help me decide on which dresses to wear for the engagement shoot, because she wanted it to come out perfect. I was so excited and I couldn’t wait to work with her! “Epic Photos! My wife and I got married in the White Mountains of New Hampshire in July 2022.
